Find out your way of working

1. Prioritizer

Such people have linear and analytical thinking. They need unvarnished facts; they never encounter data that they would not like. Priority aligners are motivated by specific goals, they manage to complete the job well and don’t like to stop until it is done.

Priority colleagues need to answer the main question “What?”: What are the data, what is the result, etc.
2. Scheduler

Such people are very organized, focused on details and build tasks sequentially. They often find flaws in presentations that other people have missed and plan projects well. They make lists and become a little dependent on them: sometimes they enter already completed on their to-do list - only to mark it as done.

It is important for planners to answer the main question - “How?”: How we did it before and how we will do it now. These questions focus on how the project will be implemented.
3. Arranger

This is a man of an intuitive warehouse, who is able to feel the undercurrents and, if necessary, correct the course. Such people come up with a visual list compilation and they need specific tools to get things done. For example, it may be some special pen, but certainly not ordinary notebook paper.

The arranger is concerned with the question “Who?”: Who are the main stakeholders, who will be affected by this project.
4. The visualizer

For a person of such a warehouse, the diversity of the work performed is critically important - he simply cannot do the same thing for many hours without end. Such people risk big, they are great at juggling several tasks at once and integrating completely different ideas into something integral. For example, you may not even see the surface of a visualizer’s table buried under a pile of things, but if you ask him something, he knows exactly where to look for it.

For visualizers, the most important question is “Why?”: Why do we do it this way and not otherwise, and why is it so important. Always show them the big picture and tie everything to the strategy.

Answering your colleague’s key question based on his style, you can reduce the friction that often arise in a team. This will not eliminate all possible conflicts during the project, but will help to better communicate and create a positive image among colleagues.

Work.ua, having analyzed its work style, came to the conclusion that the site manages to harmoniously combine all 4 work styles. And this confirms the following thought: you can always find a common language and create a friendly team with everyone and always!
